17 Roadglide Ultra speaker replacement

I installed these into the fairing of my Roadglide Ultra. It required the removal of the decorative piece on the magnet and a1/8 plastic shim to gain clearance for mounting. They sound great, loud, and crystal clear. I used the grills that came with them for the rear speakers. The grills cover most of the the OEM speakers and are sturdy.

Using on 25 road glide

I swapped out my stock speakers and used these ds18 speakers. Only issue was that I had to use a heat gun to heat up the inside plastic housing on one side to to make just a little more room so the speaker would fit into place. Make sure your speed control settings are on and adjusted upward. I can now hear my audio when traveling down the road. They have good clean clear crisp sound. I would recommend them.

Loud!

These are definitely loud on my 25 HD Road Glide. I had to make do some mods to make them fit. I wish they had a little more bass. But, I can atleast hear them on the highway now. I definitely recommend them for the money.
