Birdie Initial Necklace

I purchased this for my mom as a Christmas gift and think it is super cute. Unfortunately when she went to put it on, the latch was broken and detached! We were so disappointed as opening a broken gift takes the excitement away from the moment. Of course we understand these are made by people and errors happen. When we brought it in to the store, they fixed it, which was much appreciated, but the apology was pretty casual and we felt like this would have been an opportunity for your customer service to really shine. When I told my friends, one of them said they had this issue as well and that it continued to break again and again over time. Hopefully reasons for returns or repairs get passed onto the production team so quality control can be improved.
