We bought this as our dogs physio advised it would help her pick her feet up and save going through the boots which she hates wearing. Without anything she will wear her claws down to the quick bleed and get infected. This brace makes an instant difference when she has it on for her walks. I would fully recommend this if it is what you need for your dog. It seems a lot of money but it’s worth it for the difference in makes.

Further to my earlier 5 star review of today, I have noted that other customers of the Biko appliance have experienced difficulty in understanding the instructions which come with the kit. The product is manufactured in Austria and all instructions are in German. However, accompanying the brace is a small QR code which, when used, allows access to the Biko website (still in German) . With a little perseverance, however, you will find a pop-up asking you to select your language of choice for an immediate translation. Then there follows a few pages of how, when,where and for how long to use the Brace (from 10 minute stints to months). Also covers approx shelf life of the bands and how to obtain replacements. The issue surrounding the requirement to purchase a suitable harness separately is easily overcome by speaking to the staff of Zoomadog ( Megan and Cheyenne) who can provide a really robust , adjustable harness for a reasonable £23.99.
