Harness review

Hi, My 7year old male Bichon Frise had I.V.D.D. he was operated on successfully in March at Bristol Small Animal Hospital, unfortunately because of the severity of the disease he lost the use of his back legs. The hospital provided a lift harness and I used this for him to enjoy his daily walk. I looked at harnesses on line and decided to buy the Zoomadog one. The harness is well made, correct size chosen, with lots of padding, however I find the the openings for his legs are too far apart and he doesnt seem comfortable in the harness. I am average male height and i find the lifting straps are far too short,. I was expecting something slightly longer that would cover slightly more of his body. Lastly I feel the the price of the harness is excessive.

Our old dog (15) had damaged his cruciate ligament and was struggling with mobility. As part of his recovery we purchased this harness. Its simple to use and easy to fit and supports Riz on his road to recovery. Thoroughly recommend.

Well made and easy to wash and dry

We were given the Medium size by the hospital but I measured our dog as per your website and ordered the S/M size instead which is better as he can wee without getting it wet. The straps are longer too which is better. I do find the straps get twisted easily so maybe this could be addressed and modified in future. The harness is very expensive too- but I’m glad to find out about Zoomadog as we may well need some of the other products in future. The lady on the telephone was very helpful and phone answered quickly
