This rod has helped me as a newer fly fishermen so much than any other rod I’ve had. It helps with feel, it’s got great response and a stiff enough backbone to hammer those Texas reds. I can’t recommend this rod enough to friends and everyone else.

The 8wt Marsh MX Fly Rod casted very smoothly and launched the fly like it was a cannon. Managed a nice 19" Redfish and had several opportunities at a bonnethead shark as well.
