A MUST for anyone frustrated with the GGIII system
The kit install was pretty straightforward. The most important part about the install, is the 30ft of hose included is intended to go under the floor to the bow bag. I mounted the pump for the bow bag on the V Drive/transmission. And i ran the hose around the port side to the bow and into the locker. Doing it like this will use up almost all of your hose so I ordered an additional 30ft of hose. I bought a couple fittings from my local hardware store and Amazon to make things neat and tidy. Another important part is the glued in fittings on oem fly high bags. I removed all the fittings with a hairdryer and my foot. I re sealed around the threaded holes with e6000 adhesive. I Tefloned all threads into the bags and cleaned all the o rings. I have the bottom port as fill/drain. Capped the upper port, and put the vent line at the far end of each bag. My system fills the fastest it ever has and the bags are the fullest they've ever been. Best wave I've ever had with my 08 xlv. 10/10 kit would reccomend

Grav 3 Ballast System Upgrade
Everything was great, service great, installed as it should, only negative was the instructional video and info do not mention at all the front stock ballast bag. Messing with this bag and plumbing a 1" line required taking up the floor, not a huge deal, but also my stock bags have a glued in barb for a 3/4" line, and removing that from the bag can damage the bag requiring replacement. I did find a wakemakers video on removing them after some searching, but was not aware of this issue at time of purchase. Also, the stock bag fill and drain barbs are on the same end of the bag, making using one of them as a vent really not practical, if you swing the bag so the vent is on the high side (towards the bow), then the fill/drain is on the high side as well, and draining the bag is difficult. Leave it on the low (aftward) side of the boat, then the vent doesn't really act as a vent. More discussion on this issue, and perhaps just suggesting a replacement bag size and configuration would be helpful. Great products though, great service, fast delivery.
