Great and durable
Just bought these two new bags to replace two I finally had to give up after several years of use. I have used Derby bags for years and always have around 5 bags I rotate, and my horse uses them every day. The size of the holes are perfect to slow her down. They nicely hold 1 large flake of hay, or more. There is one thing I wish the company would do differently. First thing I have do with a new bag is take the knot out of the bottom strap so I can slide a clip on. The strap is fine for some applications, but in a stall, when you hang on a wall with the top two, I have a large eye-hook for the bottom. Even when I'm traveling or camping, I find the clip, rather than the strap, is best for securing the bottom. Highly recommend these durable bags.

Works great. Not to frustrating for your horse. It slows their eating which I great for hauling.

In The Bag
My horses have been known to destroy some pretty pricey hay bags in a short amount of time. So far the Derby slow feed bags have held. They are heavily constructed . The top is secured with strong Velcro and heavy snap straps. I like the ability to hang the bag and also secure the bottom with thick straps as well. The slow feed webbing is perfect no pealing of nylon threads . Derby has made a high quality, affordable hay bag.
