I absolutely love this set. Perfect for the casual at home chef. Exactly what I wanted the sharpness, feel weight and design of the Damascus blades are perfect. I am very happy. I would recommend this set.

Peyton’s wife- I ordered this set as a Christmas gift for my husband, received Dec. 19th and have used gently since. It is now Feb 18th and the edges have already folded over which makes me question the integrity of quality described or if they are even truly forged with damascus. Also, I ordered directly from Masuta site and the knives we received are stamped MD HAND? Unfortunately this is the first ever knife set we’ve ever ordered in hopes of loving them and left thoroughly displeased. Lesson learned.

This set is amazing… extremely sharp, cuts like butter through anything! The finish on the blades and wooden handles are beatifully crafted, Japenese style, and i’m loving the set. If your serious about your kitchen tools…. This is the set to buy! Thank you Masuta.
