Conservative, Old School, Classic

Cap d’Antibes is conservative, a bit old school, and classic. It’s not shy, but it doesn’t demand too much attention. I use it mostly as an office fragrance. It exudes executive power. The violet is the star of the show and what makes it so distinctive. The violet lends a touch of formal seriousness that harkens back to Gray Flannel from the seventies. It has depth and spiciness, but the vanilla mellows it out just enough. It’s sweet at first but settles in nicely as more of a green scent. It’s versatile enough to wear to formal occasions like a wedding and light enough to wear for summer evenings. It’s a great “all-rounder” that isn’t too wild, but distinctive enough to make sure you stand out in a socially appropriate way.

Cap d'Antibes

Fresh and masculine. I've tried over 50 different niche fragrances and even more designer fragrances (samples) to finally arrive at this one being full bottle worthy. I'm a southern man (deep south), so fragrances in general are often frowned upon for being feminine or over bearing. However, this one is masculine and not over bearing and yet has GREAT longevity. A rare find. I'm no expert, but I would say this one is a "blue" scent or an"aquatic" scent.
