The bodkin is nice and sharp; but the thread cutter arrived broken, I am sorry to say.

Nice product

Been tying flies for 50 years and always wanted to try one of these thread cutters. Opted for the Stonfo cutter as I've had their other products and were well satisfied. My first impressions of the thread cutter was it was very sharp and required no effort to cut the thread off the fly especially with a little tension. It cuts really close and does not leave that nusience tag on perdigon's was they are super sharp and cut thread well. close to the body without leaving a tag. Very handy for finishing off perdigon's prior to applying resin. Works the same way when tying parachute dry flies.
