The 9" High performance fan is a HUGE upgrade over the others. I'm running a custom side mount heat exchanger using a Garrett 5" thick core and did a bunch of tests. 1). Test 8" Perma-cool fan = 300CFM no core, 130 CFM MAX through the core. 2 Perma-cool fans (front/back of core) 340 CFM MAX. 2). Spal 7.5" fan =370 CFM no core with 2 fans (front/back of core) 400 CFM MAX. 3). Spal 9" HPF = 780 CFM no core. Behind the core = 300 CFM, side of core =707 CFM, through the core =660 CFM. All tests done with a running car, same wiring, no shrouds. With shrouds installed I expect to see even better results with the negative pressure it would create.
