Mini Tile Fidget Slider - Richlite

This product has a fine quality of build. I am only finding the the magnets are way too strong. The slide plates are "proud" between about 1/32" and 1/16" creating a nearly 1/8" space all around the slider. I have to be careful as to not pinch the skin on my hands. I have contacted Novel Carry nearly 2 weeks ago about this. I asked how they would recommend, as to how I could switch out the magnets to a strength that would help. I have yet to receive a response. The fine gentleman from Fidget Focused had discussed his need to refinish the edge of his Novel Carry full sized sliders in one of videos demonstrating magnetic fidget sliders. I assume this is an entry level slider in the Novel Carry line of products and I need someone to tell me if their higher end products are worth trying.
