Outstanding watch but. . .
This is a great watch. I've owned many high-end watches and can say that this Strat-o-timer, feature for feature, including fit and finish, compares favourably with pieces that are far more costly at retail. For the next revision of this model, however, please consider the following: (1) Shorten the length of the bracelet clasp. It's much longer than is necessary, in large part, it would appear, because of the internal adjustment capability. Especially with the 7-link bracelet, allowing for easy sizing given the small size of the D-links, there is really no need for "9" micro adjust slots inside the clasp. It's easy to get a perfect fit with less adjustability and a smaller clasp (less metal rigidly under the wrist). (2) Soften the bracelet edges on the underside of the bracelet. They're a bit sharp and shouldn't be. (3) Don't expose the movement through an exhibition case back. This is not a VC, Patek or Breguet. The movement, while a quality engine, is nothing to look at, and the adorned JM rotor doesn't change that. A simple steel case back, with a large "star" logo deeply carved (and whatever else you want to engrave on it, although little else is necessary), would make this an even more solid and, in my view, a nicer piece. Personally, I think the exhibition case back on this piece cheapens the look of the watch, at least when viewing the underside. All-in-all, this Strat-o-timer is a great-looking and well-made GMT, with perfect dimensions for a small or average-size male wrist (e. g. 6. 5" - 7. 5")
