Melted my Switch

I had bought the light bars and wiring kit from them around 2 years ago. I had my light switch secured through a elastic band on my bar bag. I took it out of it mounting point and forgot to put it back in and the switch melted on my pipe. I messaged them and they cleave me a discount on a new harness , when they could have charged me full price had it shipped and in my hands in 2 days. Quality customer service

I haven't installed it yet. I know they work really well, from word of mouth. Everything looks great. I would have liked some directions printed on the back of my receipt, or something. I know it's pretty straight forward... However, I'm not the smartest guy who's ever installed an LED light bar. I wonder if the relay needs to be grounded? Like mounted on a cleaned up spot on the frame? I know it's grounded at the battery, but the relay has a naked metal mounting bracket.. so idk?
