Human smells like a manmade atmosphere turned into scent rather than a traditional perfume. The opening is weird in a very intentional way: steamed rice, chalky concrete, and a faint spark of ginger that feels almost metallic. There’s a green, slightly savory edge from matcha and a soft powdery iris that keeps it from feeling harsh, but it never tries to be pretty or conventionally wearable—it feels conceptual and a bit uncanny. As it develops, it settles into warm skin musk, sandalwood, and a subtle salty-mossy base that blurs into a “human body + environment” effect. It’s skin-like, slightly savory, and quietly strange—like clean skin in a concrete room with something living underneath it. It’s not a crowd-pleaser, but it’s fascinating: minimal, abstract, and very deliberately about humanness rather than perfume.

Incredibly unique

Wow!! Despite the name, this smells quite earthy to me, but I really like it. For the first few hours on my skin, it smells exactly like steamed rice and freshly washed, raw mushrooms. Maybe a little mossy too? The longer it’s worn, the more traditional and less warm it becomes. Even then, it doesn’t have a very “animal/human” feel to me. It’s not what you expect, but definitely still worth experiencing. This fragrance takes me on a pleasant and complex journey every time I wear it.
