Oru Kayak - Beach LT review

We recently purchased an Oru Kayak from Ottawa Valley Air Paddle and I must say that we were very impressed with the Kayak and the customer support we received from the store. Our friend who is a canoe/kayaking expert remarked that the Kayak has nice lines, tracks well and was stable . It was light and easy to assemble even for a newbie like me. We all were impressed with the functionality of the kayak and how you just pack it into your car and go. While kayaking, I found the kayak to be smooth, comfortable (though I did buy a gel seat) and easily steered. It was only my second time paddling and no issues with fatigue. While packing up the kayak, one of the plastic shoulder strap clip snapped. We emailed the store and they answered very quickly and professionally. They contacted the company on our behalf and we only had to submit a photo and the serial number (they even sent us a video on how to find it). We had the replacement clip within a couple of day. Excellent service. Overall, we were very pleased with the quality of the kayak and also the customer service of the store. Thank you!

No roof racks or trailer required.Stores conveniently inside our house.Tracking is very good. Easy to turn and manoeuvre on calm water. After watching video, it was easy to assemble and disassemble. As an 74 year old who wants to continue paddling, I find the Oru Beach LT meets my needs perfectly. OVAP Online purchase and delivery also went well.
