A return of the original

It appears they are back to using the original design. It works just fine with my Extron and Canare cables and can be secured with the screws. Here is a photo of the new one and my old one.

Works perfectly. I alternate between using to connect Dreamcast to Retrotink 4k and connecting PC to crt.

Unable to use it without modification

It is physically impossible to insert any of the several VGA cables I own. The cutout for the port is too small and I had to take it apart just to test it out.
