Best coffee I've ever made at home

I've been making coffee for 35 years, mostly with a conventional electric coffeemaker. After my latest coffeemaker gave up the ghost, I decided to go as manual/no-tech as possible. In researching options for making full pots of coffee without a coffeemaker, I found mentions of Etkin. After watching a few YouTube videos on baristas using the contraption, I decided it was probably a good fit for me. I echo everyone who characterizes the coffee as "sweet" and "smooth." Every morning since I got the Etkin, I have prepared the most beautiful coffee I've ever been able to produce in my own kitchen. The ceramic and glass materials are beautiful and a pleasure to keep on the kitchen counter where my old electric brewer used to sit.

Fragile Carafe

Was excited to find this large capacity pour over set. The dripper is nice, but the carafe seems to be a cheap afterthought. Thin, fragile glass. One week in and it broke. Technically my fault I guess but just a light tap on the top while moving a pan and it shattered. Expensive mistake. I'm so bummed I paid so much for something that is now useless. It seems at this price the glass should be a bit thicker and more resilient. Looking for something else I can use to brew the coffee into! For now, I'm sadly bringing back out my old plastic auto-drip brewer back off the pantry shelf... and no the Etkin dripper doesn't fit on top of that carafe :(

Brewer and carafe

Great product. Good looking and elegant. I have enjoyed experimenting to find the right recipe for me. I really like the ability to make a pour over for a large group of people. A well worth it purchase.
