Replacement of both electronic modules in EGO Snow Thrower

My EGO snow thrower stopped working after several years of operation; however, we don't get that much snow in Maryland. Consequently, it has probably been used less than 50 hours. From on-line research data, I determined the main power module (the one that is connected directly to the battery) was bad. The Power+Parts web site indicated that you should replace both the main power module and the power distribution module that takes the output from the power module and drives the motor. The web site stated that if you don't replace the and the distribution module, the new power module could fail from being connected to the old power distribution module. I replaced both at a cost of $187. This did fix the snow thrower. I hope that EGO has made a design change to these modules so that they will last longer than 50 hours of operation.

Fixed!

Parts were perfect and fixed the issue with my snowblower. Only issue was when I was checking out and it came to shipping, you did not ship to Alaska. COME ON, that is absolutely RIDICULOUS! At least give an option to pay a little more to have it shipped here. I ended up having to it shipped to my daughter in Idaho and then she brought it up to me because she happened to be flying up here. Would have done 5 stars if not for the shipping issue.
