iBasso DX270 R2R Ultra | Digital Audio Player

First DAP

So this is my first DAP and I have to say it’s pretty good. I do use them with AirPods and AirPod maxs but they really excel with my Fostex over ear cans. Battery life is phenomenal with my AirPod maxs as I used them together for an international flight for about 5 hours and I was at 85% which was great! My next step is to pair them with some IEMs and see how that goes. Overall good quality for EDM, rock and some Jazz.

Matthew from Bloom Audio was excellent in answering my 21 questions regarding purchasing this device versus the ibasso dx180. Im so glad i listened to his advice. The sound is immaculate, engaging, fun and has literrally this 3D holographic sound that surrounds you its so immersive! The ui is super snappy, screen bright, power output perfect, and still better than expected battery life and portability and pocketability than i imagined! Cant praise this DAP and Matthews assistance enough! Buy it you wont regret it!

R2R excellence

The iBasso DX270 is a well made, solid DAP. While still “portable”, it is barely so. I thought the DX180 was too big to carry around. Well, the DX270 is longer, thicker, and heavier. That being said, the DX270 would is a premium piece of equipment. The battery is much better than the DX180 and replaceable, when that time comes. The DX270 also packs a big punch. Tremendous power that can drive any IEM and just about any headphone. And, most importantly, the sound out of the device is wonderful: spatial, engaging, addicting. Thank you Matthew for the recommendation and assistance. No company has better customer service than Bloom.
