Black Bamboo Nigra, Phyllostachys Nigra 'Black'

The plant was healthy and taller than expected. It exceeded my expectations and I'm only sorry I didn't buy four of these instead of three golden leaf and one of these.

I haven't transplanted them yet but they arrived healthy and I look foreword to seeing spring shoots shortly.

I was grateful for the extra care takin to assure safe shipping during winter weather. It was a beautiful plant upon arrival, and I was pleasantly surprised at the size and health of it.
