Like all my Grant Stone boots, these are off the highest quality, leather is perfect and build is perfect, I’m an 11D on Brannock, 10. 5 D fit perfect, Grant Stone boots are the best

First Class Grant Stone Diesel Boots

Best Lace up boots I own. I am a 10UK in Shoe normally abd the US 10D in the Leo Last are absolutely perfect in this Boot. Previously I've worn Red Wing, Trumans, Nicks and Whites in quality Lace Ups but none fit as well as these Grant Stone Diesel whilst also having the same attention to detail. In slip ons I also wear Lofgren Engineer Boots which have the same attention to detail and fit brilliantly, however they are over twice the price of the Grant Stone Diesel, so it's a great Boot at superb price point.

Natural Roughout vs. Waxy Commander

The boots fit great and are very comfortable right out of the box. One of the first things that stood out to me was the sole, it’s a unique and interesting color choice that really adds character to the overall design. For comparison, I also own a pair of Diesel boots in Waxy Commander leather from Charles F. Stead. Although the two versions look very similar in photos, they feel completely different in person. The Waxy Commander leather is noticeably stiffer and has a subtle sheen from the applied wax. Over time, though, they’ve aged beautifully, and I really appreciate how that leather develops character with wear. The Diesel boots in Natural Roughout are a completely different experience. The leather feels soft, supple, and far more flexible from the start. There was virtually no break-in period, which honestly surprised me. I was initially concerned they might end up feeling too loose once broken in, but after wearing them on and off for three weeks, they still fit perfectly and haven’t stretched out. If I had to mention one downside, it would be that the Natural Roughout picks up grime from everyday wear more quickly than the Waxy Commander leather. That’s somewhat expected with roughout, but it’s worth noting. That said, the Natural Roughout boots are incredibly versatile. They work well in casual settings but can easily be dressed up for a more semi-formal look. Overall, I’m really impressed with them, great fit, comfortable leather, versatile styling, and a standout sole that gives them a distinctive edge.
