Good amount of rise

The rise and backsweep and look are perfect for my singlespeed mtb. I trimmed it down to shoulder width, tilted the bar toward me so the upsweep is negated, the crossbar is centered over my stem clamp, and it is perfect. I ride a lot. The rise = better breathing, better cooling, no wrist, hand or shoulder pain, no neck pain, no back pain, no hand numbness, better control, better sighting of lines, better leverage, more confidence in step-downs, more leverage for step-ups, less weight in the contact patch means less understeer, easier recovery from any pushy moment, and because I’m a seated climber for the most part until the very top of anything critical, I’ve not found climbing to be any issue. The reduced width = quicker handling in rooty technical woods where I ride most, better leverage when I do stand, and I don’t get close to touching anyone else riding/ walking toward me or when I overtake.
