I wanted to send a hug and I did!

A close coworker’s mother passed after a long illness. Didn’t want to send something that would die (flowers), something they would need to take care of (plant), or a ton of sweets. I let the coworker know that I was sending them a hug. I wasn’t prepared for their response. They were awed by the thoughtfulness of the gift. They received it and wrapped themselves up and took a nap! My expectations were exceeded!
