TCR Decodable Books - Set 1

These are the best books for kids learning to read! My son loved the illustrations and stories. He reads so well now but doesn’t want to let go of the books!

I absolutely love these for my 3 year old! They are easy enough for her to practice reading on her own with little correction from me, and short enough that she doesn't lose interest. I'm so glad that we found the TCR program! It has made it so easy for me to help teach my daughter how to read!

My grand-daughter is 3. I have worked with her on letter sounds which she picked up very quickly. I worked with her last week reading the first book in the set and she did well. Later in the day, I discussed the story we read. She remembered all the characters and the action they performed in the story. I do this because I want her to grasp concepts and retain knowledge as she learn, not just read the words. The readers are very colorful and she is eager to read them. When she came this morning, she was ready to read it again, but with little prompting today…she would sound out the word on her own if she was unsure of it at first. I’m very excited for her! She loves books! I highly recommend these books!
