The brush is what I expected. Holds plenty of water, lathers well and fits great using my shave nation palm lather bowl. This is my second badger brush and this time I soaked it for a few minutes then ran my brush through the shaving soap and rinsed it repeating the process a couple of times and when I used it to shave it made a nice thick lather in about 1 minute. I recommend this brush because not only does it work great, it looks great as well.
