TOUGH AS SHELL

Very good ceramic sealant, haven’t used it as a stand alone product yet but I have a wash clay seal scheduled but I have used it as a coating topper and it was a very easy application and made the paint pop even more and was extremely slick and it rained a day later and it showed awesome hydrophobics so I am very pleased and can’t wait to see the gloss it provides as a stand alone sealant on freshly decontaminated paint!!

Tough as Shell is great stuff. Shortly after I got my first bottle I did a comparison on the hood of my 4Runner with Chemical Guys Hydro Charge. The Chemical Guys ceramic is not too bad to apply and remove, unless you leave it on too long, but Touch as Shell is so so much easier. Spray it on wipe it off. Gloss and slickness between the two are about the same and after 5 washes water beading with both are still good. But why go to extra time and trouble to carefully apply and buff off Hydro Charge when you can spray on Tough as Shell, hit it with a good microfiber towel and you are done! The photo of the drivers side is Hydro Charge, passenger side is Tough as Shell. Gloss is about the same and water beading with Tough as Shell may be slightly better. This is after 5 washes

Tough as shell is amazing! Goes on nice and it’s slick. Nothing sticks to your paint. It has been a week and still super slick, went on some new pavement and the black specks wiped right off. For sure keeping this stuff in my detail kit. I used it on my bed cover also.
