Sometimes metal bearings are high-maintenance drama queens that need constant attention and will die dramatically if a speck of dust looks at them wrong. IGUS bearings? They're the chill friend who just shows up, does their job, and doesn't complain when your workshop looks like a crime scene. Set it, forget it, print things. That's the whole relationship. Just remember that they're not metal, so they might have issues in particularly high chamber temperatures. The iglide L280 is rated for continuous use at something like 90C and igumid G at 130C, so for most people's printers this is going to be an issue, but that's not true for everyone!
