We tested the lens on a sunny day. On 20 separate attempts, the average ignition time is 3. 32 seconds. Unreal. We were able to scribe on wood. A slow hand steady hand and were made interesting images and monograms. I need two more.

Great little kit. Knocked a star off because the lens had several small scratches /nicks in the center of the glass on both sides when I opened the package.
