Illumé Toothbrush x2 Kits White

I love this tooth brush. It took a couple of times to get used to it. I bought it because my teeth are extremely tight and crowded, and it is hard to floss between them. I was curious to see if it was really getting between my teeth. The other night after I brushed my teeth I could literally see food in between the bristles. So it really works and my teeth feel very clean. I am very happy with this toothbrush. My daughter loves hers too.

I love the idea of a vertically spinning brush. The brush cleans teeth better than the regulars automated brush. However, due to spinning need to be in a certain direction on each part of jaws can get confusing if I brushed this part already. The brush itself is not very flexible on the curves. I think it would be more beneficial if the brush is elliptical shape.

The brush design makes it tough to reach the back of my teeth comfortably. I eventually figured out that the best way to apply toothpaste is right along the edge of the bristles and edge cap so it actually stays on, but that same ridge makes maneuvering the brush around my mouth awkward. My biggest frustration is the constant light. The charging indicator never turns off, and it’s bright enough to be distracting at night. I wish it only lit up briefly to show status instead of glowing nonstop. On the positive side, it does a solid job cleaning my gums and removing plaque buildup. Where it struggles is between teeth, I can still visually see food remnants (I often like starting the day with ann everything bagel and see poppyseeds stick around) unless I floss first. Overall, it’s a good toothbrush, but we definitely don’t love it.
