Knotted Hay Nets - 5x4 Round Bale Net

5x4 knotted haynet 2.5" holes for my moo cows

Hi, we have used our black hay net about 6 times and my cows learned to eat through it very quickly within 30 minutes. They did circle around the hay ring more than usual and looked back at me like what is this thing? Yet we all learned even Herman who has horns that are blunt on the ends so he's safe. My tiniest Anya even jumped on top of the hay net bale to eat better once it was half way down. I have 18 cows and only 9 use it at a time. Now it did however get 2 bigger holes in it already which I was hoping would not happen. It could have been from the hay ring getting caught on it like the screws or some wire holding a few together or cows are simply rough on it? I'm not sure. I only had a tiny amount of string to use so I tied it as good as I could. It does help with extra hay waste on the ground even during rain and snow- I'm in Nebraska. So my overall rating would be an 8 out of 10 so far. Thanks

5x4 hay nets

We have been using these for about 3 weeks. So far, two of the nets have had holes chewed in them, which we fixed. We like them better than on s we got from another source. All in all we are happy with them so far .

Great quality

Really impressed with the hay net. It’s quality & can withstand several mouths at once, that’s a plus in my book! We are going to buy more for our other animals, & have noticed our horses herd dynamics are better as well with it. Gives my more impatient horses something to do all day as well. Everyone looks great, Win win!
