my go to shorts for the summer. I also have the set short for swimming because its waistband dries faster. the tactical has better pockets and better waistband for general use

The perfect multi-use short

I use these shorts for strength training and swimming. I’m 6’5” and 230#. I wear a size XL. The lined shorts fit perfectly, with mobility but no baggieness. They’re also very durable; I still have pairs from several years ago that are perfect.

Favorite shorts

I like 2 things about the tactical short - the waistband is much "firmer" than that of the Interval short. And separately, the material of the tactical short seems to take a bit more wear and tear, especially if you are doing lots of work with sandbags (odd objects) and/or barbell/olympic lifts that have lots of thigh and hip engagement.
