Lacanza Maxi Dress - Black

STUNNING but DEADLY!!!

This dress was absolutely gorgeous and fit me perfectly! I was so excited to wear it to a Christmas party, but ended up having to go with a different dress since thankfully I noticed that one of the sequins under the arm was sewn into the seam so it was sticking straight out like a razor blade and slicing my arm every time I moved. The sequins are sewn on a mesh material so I couldn't see a way to fix it without tearing the dress and didn't have time to take it to a tailor. I ordered a size XL based off previous reviews saying it ran small — I would usually order a M or L depending on the dress. The dress may work for someone with a smaller bust (I'm a 34DD). It fit me the tightest around the bust and was loser around the torso (no shapewear needed!). The slit in the back is not too high at all and the length was right down to my ankles so you could still see my shoes/feet.

Deceiving to size

I ordered a size Large and it didn't fit. , there is no room for my hips or for curves. No stretch in this material. Would not recommend at all

More beautiful in person

Absolutely love this dress!! However it does run EXTREMELY small. I am typically an XS and had to size up to a Medium to feel comfortable. It is beautiful in person. The silver and gold is perfect for the holiday season!!!
