I always do a self portrait at the very beginning of a school year and I really appreciated the engaging twist to this project. The head space area of the portrait is a great "get-to-know ya."

This art lesson was perfect to boost our hearts and souls. I bought it for the kids, but I ended up doing it too and it was like art therapy. I highly recommend this as a family activity. So many important conversations were had in the process of this lesson.
