Not in box

I ordered this and several other items—all are gifts. This one came without a box. Just wrapped in plastic with no indication what it even is. I contacted customer service. Was told to send pics, which I did. I have heard nothing. No offer to send the item in a box, no offer of a partial refund. NOTHING. 3 stars because I think my friend will like it but poor customer service.
