So Many Key Layout Options!
Rather new to mechanical keyboards. This was my first built keyboard and first time soldering. Wasn't too bad since it was only the switches and MCU that had to be done. Over all enjoyed the process of soldering, learning some QMK to manually program my board with custom macros and tinkering around with designing my own 3D printed case. For me, the only thing missing on this build was backlighting.

Worth the learning curve
This is my first mechanical keyboard and soldering job - still i made it work on first try. Leadfreesolder with flux. I had problems with cheap microcontrollers at first so dont skimp if you have no idea, its not worth it having to desolder a fake lol i still have to figure out hotswap switches and would argue the case is totally big enough to fit hotswap sockets for your controller even with low profile - theres like 4-5mm space still so using tape you can totally make sure it wont short and still recover in the case of controller failure. Then BIGGEST ISSUE is that there are NO 2u or 3u low profile PSA style keycaps. Plan accordingly!! You have to use 1u kind everywhere!! I also have a hard time figuring out how to utilize the through-hole LEDs as they seem to be wired with the diodes so the light up from scanning but i doubt they can be addressed individually? Also i have no idea how to fit them like this into the switch as the hole for LEDs is usually at the bottom of the switch to be used with SMD presoldered LEDs it seems. Still i consider the build a success and even have 4 plates spare for further iterations. Thanks so much for making split keyboards with >100 keys possible, i never have to use layers if i don't want to which is great!! Also please stock in the EU the customs on these were killing me lol

It was a great project with okay instructions on setup/programming. It is now my main keyboard at work
