Exceeded expectations
I started seeing a new stylist who introduced me to Loma. During that visit I purchased the Nourishing Oil Treatment to replace my Moroccan Oil and immediately saw an improvement. My hair was much softer, shinier, and didn’t feel as brittle as before. For reference I have thin, curly, highlighted blonde hair that is exceptionally dry and prone to breakage. I was so impressed I bought the Nourishing shampoo and conditioner and am equally happy with those products. The conditioner in particular is fantastic, it’s thick and creamy and really penetrates - it rinses clean but whatever magic is in it keeps my hair from getting frizzy and it just feels incredible. My hair has never looked or felt this healthy - ever. And I’ve spent tons of money on many top luxury brands. I’ll admit I was skeptical at first but what sold me were the natural, organic ingredients and now, after having used these products long enough to give an informed opinion, I am blown away. I bought the Nourishing Treatment Oil as Christmas gifts and am telling everyone I know about Loma, it’s truly been a game changer!

Just ok
I’ve been an avid Loma fan for over nine years. It started with the hair care and then I got hooked on the skin care. Unfortunately the product changes have me taking pause. Either your product is organic or it is not. The ingredient list barely has organic ingredients. I’m not sure why even bother having any organic ingredients at all when the rest are not. “Fragrance”. Enough said. This makes me wonder about green-washing. Packaging could be better and more eco-conscious? A minor complaint but I am mindful of my plastic consumption. Now onto the products. The hair care I had to stop using as even the most “moisturizing” shampoo/conditioners were drying my hair out and I was getting a lot of damage and breakage. I loved the vanilla skincare line and had the lip balm and candles too. The scent has since changed and the beautifully soft vanilla scent is gone. Now the vanilla products smell like soft plastic and goat (yes, goat). The vanilla body wash also seems to have mint in it though I am not seeing it on the label. Living in the PNW I avoid mint skin/hair care because I hate that cold feeling it gives me on an already chilly day. The green tea body wash does not have the mint in it and I find it odd that the vanilla/citrus does. The body wash in general is luxuriously thick and gentle on even the most sensitive of skin. The scent of the green tea is better than the vanilla but neither smell that fantastic and at that price point I probably won’t buy again. The moisturizer works well but again, the scent is so awful I can’t use it. Unfortunately this brand just isn’t for me anymore. I want solidly organic, naturally scented, health-full products with eco-conscious packaging.

Love Loma products
Most recently I tried the Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner for the first time. I love the way they make my hair feel and look. The green tea lotion and body wash make my skin feel wonderful. They all smell great too.
