Great old fashioned Stout

My family has history in the brewing business going back to the 1930’s when my father chauffeured for Sir Patrick Shea of the Shea’s Brewery having the brewery and residence on the grounds now occupied by Great West Life on Osborne. My parents and mother in particular was a stout ‘snob’ and swore by Shea’s Stout. She had a glass every day at 3pm and in recently visiting my 90 year old sister in southern California I found she is keeping our mothers passion alive with a stout at the same time - alas no longer Shea’s. On trying this Drop Bear Bonfire Stout I found it very similar to what our family had been so fond of. This non alcoholic beverage is in my view as close to the best tasting stout ever as is possible. I have been buying since my first sip.
