Lydia Shiny Satin Dress - Mocha

Loved the fit

I had issues with the zipper on the original dress. I did not have time to exchange it before my event so I ended up losing money by doing a return through Ulta and just reordering. The dress itself was a beautiful color, the fit was great, and the fabric felt really good. Besides the return process, I would definitely recommend purchasing!

Flattering!

It fits well with no alterations and covers up those places I'm not too pleased about (underarm, cowl in stomach). I am 5'7", 41" 35" 44" XXL. It won't need any alterations, just some taping for the bust. It has some form in the bust area already.

Odd measurements

After reading the size chart and reviews, I initially chose to go down a size but found it did not fit over my hip area. I would say the dress is not necessarily designed for people with more curves or larger hip areas, but more of a straight/athletic shape. Overall, I like the dress but did have to exchange for a larger size.
