Beautiful sweater and easy to follow instructions

I recently finished the Role Model Sweater and loved every minute of this project. The yarn was shipped quickly and arrived well packaged. I was very impressed with the quality of the yarn and the beauty of the yarn colours. Photos of the yarn and projects do not capture the multi-dimensional colors in the yarn. The colour choices were skillfully made by the pattern’s author. The instructions came in an easy-to-follow PDF, which I printed and made notes on as I went (one of the best tips I ever received as a knitter because you never end up remembering what you did on one sleeve when doing the other!). Knitters should be aware that there is one error in the pattern, which is that charts B and E are swapped (see images included below for the corrected pattern). I only had to undo a few rounds of work to correct this; I hope you learn from my mistake, and I will be reaching out to Les Laines Biscotte about this in hopes that they will correct the pattern for future purchases. One regret I had when finishing my project was that I did not know how much yarn I would have left (first project I have done with Les Laines Biscotte and I didn’t know how accurate their pattern and sizing was), so I chose to make some of my tails shorter than I ought to have left them: this resulted in me finding creative ways to hide the undyed strands on the WS. I ended up with an entire extra ball of yarn somehow (no worries, I will make a matching hat!) and only an ounce of regret. I would rate the difficulty level of the pattern as moderate or intermediate because you need an understanding and experience with fair-isle. The sizing of the pattern was bigger than expected, so consider this when choosing your size (I would say this sweater is about two inches larger than I anticipated). Additionally, the pattern did not include instructions for proper washing. For best results, hand wash only with lanolin soap (my favourite is Eucalan Lavendar), then dry flat. All in all, I really loved this project and will definitely purchase more yarn and patterns from Les Laines Biscotte in the future. Though I haven’t worn the sweater yet as it is still drying, I am confident it will hold up beautifully. Thank you, Les Laines Biscotte, for providing such a delightful knitting experience!

Bonjour, J’ai super aimé faire ce tricot, cependant j’aurais aimé que la couleur crème du modèle soit respectée car j’ai reçu un beige. Le tout est tout de même très beau mais différent de la réalisation attendu. Merci tout de même bon produit, bonne qualité de laine et aussi patron facile à exécuter.
