Freaking Fantastic

I have been flirting with these notebooks for quite some time. I'm a gal who really likes good stationary and the adorable academic atheistic has me wanting a whole shelf of these! This semester I finally dove in because I knew my class notes are something I would like to be able to reference in the future. I was very pleased with the quality of the paper, I tend to write aggressively and have inadvertently shredded notebooks in the past. No, really. Literally shredded notes books for pressing too hard and writing too fast. Regardless of my brutish behavior my notebook hung in there and did not transfer furrows into the pages underneath! The second standard concern of mine is being able to color in my drawings. In the past I have been disappointed to see inks bleed into subsequent pages especially since, as I have established, I am basically a gorilla with Sharpies. I was able to use my markers without much concern for saturation and was able to still write perfectly fine on the reverse of the page. It is fair to say I thoroughly stressed tested this product. If I were being highly critical my only slight negative is that the spine of the notebook lost some color quicker than anticipated. It is ridiculous really to even mention that because I am so smitten with these! For how many places I took this thing and for how many times I pressed it completely flat I am really okay with the spine looking a little distressed because it probably looked better than me by the end of the semester. I very much look forward to using more of these notebooks, hopefully all the way into my doctorate program. A single notebook was an adequate size for a semester worth of notes, leaving me plenty of room to fill in drawings and charts where desired. I look forward to one day displaying these on a prominent shelf, not only for the accomplishment of my own studies but also for the artistic pleasure.
