Nice backlight and typing experience but…..

But the BT signal sleeps and can’t be changed to save battery and breaks the Mac OS Universal Control Cursor slide over when using with IPad and Mac Screen. Have to tap it to keep it awake or relink it each time. Too bad, nice to have a backlit, hate to stop using. Mac’s way expensive wireless doesn’t have the backlight so……

Awesome keyboard. I’m learning to type after all these years. Thought I’d better learn before it’s too late. My Mac Magic Keyboard was just not up to it in my opinion, so I bought one of these. Perfect. I use other satechi products and they always make good stuff from my experience.

Love the battery life! I charged the keyboard overnight when I first unboxed it, and a month later, with daily use, my Mac still says the battery is at 100%. Note: This is with the backlighting mostly turned off, I only use it occasionally when it's really dark and I don't feel like turning on the overhead light in my home office. I like the way the key legends are toward the top of the keys, which should hopefully eliminate the issue I had with another keyboard -- where the visible letter was starting to wear away on the keys I use the most (home row under the left hand, especially the A and S keys). It goes dormant if not used for 30 minutes, and it takes a few seconds to reactivate and reconnect over bluetooth after pressing a key. I also have to activate it twice when I first power up my MacBook Pro -- first to enter my logon password, and again after I am signed in and ready to work.
