Missing part for RE-ARM KIT L

Recently purchased a re-arm kit L for my MD2030-191 auto manual pfd. The kit only came with a bobbin and CO2 cylinder. When I removed the spent cylinder I found a rubber seal in between the housing and cylinder. The seal came partially out of the housing. I don’t see any reference to this part in the instructions and there was no replacement in the kit. What’s going on?
