I build vans and had a particularly challenging problem installing solar on the roof of a ford transit. With the Radius Mount, I was able to install two 200 watt solar panels without a roof rack. The awning we installed on the van, a Fiamma Eagle uses the mounting locations typically required for a roof rack. The crown of the Transit makes it impossible to install the panels across the top without a solution like the Radius Mount. Generally the only reason to install a roof rack on many builds is to support the solar panels. Cost of the rack, labor and the additional weight can be eliminated with the correct installation of this system.

Exactly what I was looking for. A mount that is drill free and conforms to the Airstream roof line. A small learning curve on the first couple panels, but then installation was very smooth and I am pleased with the outcome. A bonus is you can clean under the panels. The only downside is the mounts cost more than the Callsun solar panels I installed.
