After having to reset the canvas a few times, it is now fully waterproof and has proven to be very durable overall. There are a few issues worth noting. The rack bolt holes began to crater and deform slightly when tightened. A larger washer would likely prevent this—the included red washers seem undersized for the application. The recommended mounting distance from the cab didn’t make much sense in practice, so I adjusted it until I found a position that worked better. Additionally, the rubber strip that sits on the truck body beneath the frame was not properly adhered at the factory. It deformed or fell off during installation. It also appears they may have cut corners here, as one side was not a full-length piece, suggesting material savings. I’m generally happy with the product, but there are signs of cost-cutting in the manufacturing process. One of the more frustrating issues is with the canvas window (which costs extra). The way the unit was folded and shipped caused the zippers to press into the window, leaving permanent marks. Requesting a replacement isn’t practical, as it would require repacking and shipping the entire unit back to Australia, so I’ve chosen to live with the damage.

Lives up to the hype!

Love my topper. Fits my F150 perfectly. Setup was straightforward and easy to follow. Did have one small issue with the holes not lining up perfectly so I had to drill it a bit more to get the screw to fit. Other than that, topper is well made and frame is sturdy. Can’t wait to mount a rooftop tent on top!

Perfect for my application

Assembly/install was easy and pretty quick. I probably had an hour in it. Love the access from the sides, and is beefy for my RTT. Shipping was lightning fast. I was shocked how fast it got to Alaska!
