HI FLOW TUBELESS VALVE SCREW-ON ADAPTERS

Noticeably higher air volume but a big hassle for road bikes.

I initially set up a pair of Pirelli P Zero Race TLR tyres on a set of Vision SC55 wheels using a track pump without issue. They inflate quicker but I could do the same thing with a regular Presta valve. The issue lay with a more stubborn tyre: the Vittoria Corsa Speed. Despite allowing a higher air volume, I was unable to seat those tyres with a track pump so you need to buy separate adapters to use a compressor. They really ought to include the adapters with the original purchase because push-on inflators are still common. To summarise, these valves are machined well and do allow for a higher volume of air. But they aren’t a game changer and won’t allow you to seat a stubborn tubeless tyre without a compressor. And when you do need to use a compressor, you need an adapter and you can’t remove the valve core to further increase the air volume. Therefore, I don’t think the positives of this product outweigh the negatives and would therefore not recommend this for road bikes.

Can't believe that no one else has done this
