Superior light with my take aways

Super easy to install and wire. I choose a different mounting location and wiring method. As you can see in the photo I chose to mount the strips on the sides rather than front and rear, There were 2 reasons for this 1. It looked like I could get more light focused on the entire engine bay and 2. I'm very picky on how things are done I didn't want to drape the wire under the hood insulation from one side to the other not that there is anything wrong with it's just not for me. As you can see in the photo I positioned the ends of the strip with the wire (blue circle ) above pre existing holes in the hood using the 3m adhesive strips that are pre installed on the led strips and fed it down to a channel that goes across the hood ( in yellow ) and both down to one more hole at bottom of hood near the hinge where I cut the pre terminated wires to length and made all my connections with marine grade heat shrink butt connectors then along the inside fender to a pre existing hole ( in red ) for the provided pin switch and to a unused 5 amp fuse for power. People are amazed at how bright it is at night and how clean the install looks. I hope this help some folks out and gives a different perspective of how to mount and wire these super bright led lights.

Nice Light

Light is strong and and works properly. Had an issue with the switch mount. Had to drill an extra hole and mount sideways in order to not smash when closing. Works perfectly now and looks professional.
