While I don't advise people to blind-buy full bottles of fragrance, I sometimes fail to follow my own very good advice, and on this occasion I'm so glad that I didn't! No samples of Melancholy were available when I purchased a discovery set. However, I kept getting drawn to the description here (spicy, sexy, fresh) and the allure of real tuberose absolute. I decided to take the plunge and purchased a full bottle of this along with the winner of my discovery set, Frooty. *I AM SO THRILLED WITH THIS DECISION* because it's precisely as described! Mossy, leafy green notes with woods, a touch of herbaceous lavender, some cool spices, green melon (of course) and a gorgeous tuberose, all sitting next to fresh water. Excited to wear this, especially as warmer spring weather emerges.
