We are Emotional Warriors!

Recently I purchased the Emotional Warriors card game for my niece as she has not long been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Trying to understand and watch her experience all the mixed emotions of learning to be a T1D Warrior has been hard to watch and I just wanted to help somehow and let her know she is well supported. So i purchased this game and played it with her and it was great, it encouraged her to talk about feelings and give examples and challenges. Getting her to speak about how she feels instead of internalizing it is a win! Thank you
