So far so good One corner of the gasket surface on the top Hopper door was leaking a little bit of smoke upon shutdown and sliding the dampers back in place. Short section of paper towel and after a few cooks and some creosote forming it no longer leaks. 3 weeks in and I've cooked on it about every other day so probably 10 to 11 times. PHENOMENAL PERFORMANCE Like I said, so far it is the best all-around cooker I've ever run up against. I've done pork butts on it whole chickens chicken thighs burgers dogs and cats, beef brisket hot smoked salmon cold smoked salmon. If the puny wiring holds up, it will be a wonderful product. Really love the fact that you can put a little bit of any kind of charcoal in there to get it started and then have all the chunks of smoke wood on top of that that you want and it will just keep on chugging. You don't have to burn charcoal after you start you can burn straight wood... That is often what I do with something really mild like Apple or pear wood.
